In addition to SES, I began teaching at the Sanders Middle School (SMS) for grade 6-8 this academic year, 2023-24. I applied for the NAU LTC Fellowship so that I could implement Culturally Responsive Pedagogy into my CS curriculum using Data Based Research. Over the years, I've used Tynker, codeSpark Academy, Code.org, Kodable, Code Monkey, Skill Struck, CS First Scratch, and Hour of Code activities with my students. I've implemented Code.org's Foundations at SES and the Discoveries curriculum at SMS. To supplement the lessons, I've also used CS robotics such as Ozobots, Spheros, Robolink CoDrones, Ollies, Edison Robots, Circuit Playground, and micro:bits. In the future, I will incorporate CS with Lego and Cue robots. I am seeking to incorporate equity, diversity, collaboration, engagement and more interest in CS at our school district for students and staff.

Lets Talk Code Fellowship The LTC fellowship supports the development of Computer Science teachers scattered across Arizona and New Mexico.
